Times and Seasons !

As times and seasons come each year
We each do daily grow,
As we learn from every experience
We find through which we go.

As times and seasons come and go
We find God's Love so true,
His steadfast Love which never ceases
Is free for both me and you.

As times and seasons come each year
We are daily kept by God's Grace,
Safe in the Palm of His Loving Hands
As He helps us through all we face.

As times and seasons come and go
God's Mercies are every true,
They are new and fresh every morning
And abound for me and you.

As times and seasons come each year
Our vision grows stronger each day,
As God in His Love, His Grace and Mercy
Guides us each step of the way.

As times and seasons come and go
When things are hard to understand,
May we by faith rest in God each day
And never let go of His Hand.

As times and seasons come each year
Lord, may we never turn away,
From serving You with all our heart and soul
And give thanks to You each day.

Day By Day O Lord !

Day by day O Lord we're getting closer
And we are learning as we each grow,
That You so Love and care for us all
As along life's path we go.

Day by day O Lord in Your Presence
There is lasting Joy and Peace,
That comes from You in Your Love for us
Out of Love that shall never cease.

Day by day O Lord as we move on
You lead us on by Your Hand,
To walk the path we each must walk
In our weakness You help us to stand.

Day by day O Lord as we look on
And see so many people in need,
Please use us Lord as willing vessels
To serve You in word and deed.

Day by day O Lord may we be ever willing
To stand by others amidst what they face,
To be willing to walk with them mile by mile
As expressions of Your Mercy and Grace.

Day by day O Lord as we walk beside them
As we each yield unto Your will,
May we each day stand close by them
In the valley or climbing each hill.

Day by day O Lord wherever You take us
In all You would have us do and say,
May we be as epistles read of all men
As expressions of You I pray.

Everything Has A Purpose !

Everything in life indeed has a purpose
Though what it is we cannot always see,
As we cry out facing unexpected changes
"My God, what is happening to me?".
We make plans for the yet coming future
We have goals towards which we do aim,
Yet life's constantly ongoing changes
Make some of these unable to obtain.
Life daily continues to go on all around us
Despite what we're each going through,
And somehow we're able to yet each endure
All we're forced to face up to.
As I think over the years of all that has happened
And the goals that I set in my life,
I realise how many of them were shattered
When I lost my daughter and wife.

Shattered but not completely broken
And able to be once again,
Slowly put together piece by piece
Amidst the grief and the pain.
To begin when you feel you're out in limbo
Endeavoring to from day to day,
Cope with and to the best of your ability
Face the changes that have come your way.
You find life has taken on a whole new meaning
Things once important no longer are,
And things once taken so much for granted
You treasure close to your heart.
You begin to see life through different eyes
And appreciate it in a far different way,
Living each new day to its' fullest
As you grow and mature each day.
Again you begin to make new goals
And pray that one day you will,
Be able to achieve them with help from God
As you endeavour again to climb life's hill.

Along Life's Road !

Crooked and winding, where does it go
Life's road we're on, when will we know?
Occasionally it is straight, on some occasions it is clear
While most often it is winding and forever seems to veer.
This way and that way, occasionally is it straight
And to find where we're going, w just have to wait,
Then as we so do, we more clearly come to see
Where life's winding road, is taking you and me.
Often it is very hilly, yes up and down it can go
Draining all our strength, as we press on so,
And so now my friend, as you press on today
May God be your guide, each day I pray.
May God be your companion and so help you along
May God be your strength and so make you strong,
To lead you and guide you, to help bear your load
As you daily journey on, along your life's winding road.

Dreams !

Our life's a daily ongoing journey
Through dreams we have each day,
Of things we hope to each achieve
And do along life's way.
We dream of things we wish to acquire
Along with those we long to do,
And while some do so come to pass
Others may never do.
While some goals are quite achievable
Others cannot in any way,
Except by some truly great miracle
Ever come to pass one day.
For us to dream is most important
If we are to ever achieve,
Those things that seem beyond our reach
But in time we reach with ease.

To accomplish those dreams we have to each day
Step out in faith and know,
That through God all things are possible
In our lifetime as we grow.
We have to work towards those goals
And only then will we see,
Those very things coming to pass one day
In the lives of you and me.
Everything we do and in time so achieve
Begins as a dream one day,
That overtime will so come to pass
As we journey along life's way.

Lord You So Make A Way !

Lord You make a Way, when there seems to be no way;
Lord You give us hope, as we struggle to cope each day;
Lord You give us the enabling, to climb our life's next hill;
To cross each valley as daily, we seek to do Your Will.
Lord You make a Way, amidst all that we go through;
Lord You give us Hope, as we hope and trust in You;
Lord You give us the enabling, when we no longer can stand;
As You reach down to us in Love, and uphold us by Your Hand.
Lord You make a Way, a way that is sure and clear;
Lord You give us Hope, as You daily walk so near;
Lord You give us the enabling, when we're unable to cope;
As You walk with us mile by mile, as in You we put all our hope.
Lord You make a Way, through life's toils and snares;
Lord You give us Hope, as for us You daily care;
Lord You give us the enabling, as we look to You each day;
To daily be our guiding light, along life's winding way.
Lord You make a Way, for which we so want to thank You;
Lord You give us Hope, a Hope that's lasting and true;
Lord You give us the enabling, to do all that You require;
As in our journey up life's mountain, You daily take us higher.
