In the adjoining pages I have included a number of poems that I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit, in my walk with my Lord, to  write over the years. I trust and pray that they'll be to you a help and inspiration for everyone who should so choose to read them.

Know This My Friend !

Know this my friend, no matter how you feel
I have no doubt at all, that God's very real,
I have been in that place, where I have too
Questioned His reality, as I know you so do.
I've been so angry at times, and questioned His ways
But as I look back, I can see how each day,
He has stood by me, amidst all I did face
And upheld me in Love, each day by His Grace.

He has helped me to bear, the hardships in life
Especially the loss of, both my daughter and wife,
When I was too weak, to be able to stand
He gave me new strength and took hold of my hand.
To lead me and guide me, each day as I grow
To be my nearest Companion, wherever I go,
To be my dearest Friend, Who I could turn to
As I know at this time, so too can You.

May His presence become, so real I now pray
As you so seek His Face, each and every day,
May the many doubts and fears, that do trouble you so
As you cry out to God, ever so quickly go.
And in their place, may God's Peace come to be
Ever present in your life and also in me;
So that in the days ahead, may we be able each day,
To stand uprightly by faith,  in your Lord God I pray.

Take The Time !

Take the time each day to come to know God, to know how much He cares,
For both you and I as we each grow and for whom He has so much to share,
Take the time to wait on God daily, to hear His still small Voice,
As He speaks to our hearts and minds each time, that we're each faced with choice.
Take the time to know Him as your Saviour and the time to know all that He's done,
For you and I out of His Love for us, that in time with Him we'll be one,
Take the time to know Him as your provider, to know what He's done for us all,
And the many provisions He has for us and the blessings both great and small.
Take the time to know as your Dearest Friend, the time to know He's nearby,
Always a close Friend who you can lean on and our Helper who is ever so nigh.

I Thank You My Lord !

I thank my You Lord for Your Mercies and for Your Grace Lord too,
I thank my You Lord how You do keep us, as we yield our lives unto You,
I thank my You Lord for the blessings and for all that You've given me,
I thank my You Lord for my friends and for all my family.
I thank my You Lord for Your Peace and Joy, that dwells within my soul,
I thank You my Lord that I once broken, have by You, been made whole,
I thank my You Lord You are close by, yes never far from me,
Whether upon the crest of the hill, or down in the deepest valley.
I thank my You Lord, You stood by me, in all You've taken me through,
But most of all I want to give thanks, that I have come to know You,
I thank my You Jesus, You are my Lord and that You are my King,
I thank my You my Lord Jesus Christ, You have defeated death's sting.

The Mount Of Crucifixion !

On the Mount of Crucifixion, Jesus Christ died for you and me
On the Mount of Crucifixion, yes on the Cross of Calvary,
Christ bore all of our sin, yes all the sin of fallen man
So that we would be redeemed and before our Father God in time stand.
Not to receive judgement to be sentenced, to be cast for eternity one day
Into eternal damnation, by not responding to Jesus Christ the Way,
But rather to receive from Him Blessings, to be crowned as children of the King
For all of eternity yet to come, redeemed in Love and Mercy from sin.

On the Mount of Crucifixion, Jesus Christ died on that awful day
On the Mount of Crucifixion, He so suffered so that you and I may,
By claiming the Power of His Blood, over the power of death and sin
Stand today redeemed by Grace, as children of the King.
So my friend know this today, my Lord Jesus Christ is beckoning
You to open the door of your heart to Him and today so allow Him in,
So that He may so become your Saviour, your Lord and King for eternity
If this is what you so desire, then now say this with me:

I confess I am a sinner Jesus, yes today it is true
There is no other way to salvation, other than the Cross through You
I confess I am a sinner my Jesus, forgive me of my sin I pray
I claim my salvation by Your Blood and now unto You I say.

Please come into my life Jesus, to become my Lord
Please come into my life today, Christ to be my King,
Please come into my life today, for I am a sinner indeed
And only You can set me free, forevermore from my sin.
By the Power of Your Blood, You shed for me in Love
Upon the Cross of Calvary, where You bore my sin one day
Please come into my life to fill up the emptiness within
Yes please come into my life now, so that I may, I pray.
Begin my new life in You my Lord, as a child of God today
Washed clean by Your Blood, from the power of all sin,
A new life in You, forevermore My Lord Jesus Christ
From now on and forever, as a child of the King. AMEN !!!

Thank You my Jesus, Thank You for becoming My Saviour, My Lord and My King today !!!
