Suffering !
Taking The Next
Step !
Help me Lord at the loss of my daughter
And of my beloved wife;
As I press on to take the next step
Please guide me each day of my life.
Please fill that emptiness that now has come
At the loss of my dear loved ones;
Please help me Lord, one day at a time
To take the next step and move on.
For by myself I could not stand,
But by Your Strength Jesus Christ I can;
Please open my eyes to behold Your Face
And guide me on by Your Hand.
Help me Lord to guide my children
And support them day by day;
To encourage them Lord to seek Your Face
Please touch them Lord I pray.
Please strengthen them Lord to face each day
And to know it is not in vain;
Please help them Lord to lean on You
As they grieve and suffer much pain.
And so O Lord, as we move on
Please strengthen us we pray to stand;
And guide us Lord Jesus Christ day by day
To never let go of Your Hands.

My Lord !
My Lord You reached down to me
And called me to follow You,
To walk each day with You close by
You helped me to see each day through.
My Lord You reached down to me
When I had fallen so low,
You lifted me up in Your Mercy
And showed me which way to go.
My Lord You reached down to me
When I strayed away from You,
You reached down to me in Love
And drew me ever close to You.
My Lord You reached down to me
When I was feeble and weak,
You strengthened me by Your Grace
I feel so humble and meek.
My Lord You reached down to me
And covered me under Your Wings,
You gave me hope of life after death
You defeated death's paralysing sting.
My Lord You reached down to me
And embraced me in Your Love,
A Love O Lord that is Eternal
That comes from You above.
So Lord I want to thank You
That You reached down to me,
No longer am I bound by fears
But am now eternally free.

Out of
Turmoil !
From all the turmoil in my life
As I yielded unto You Lord,
You made something beautiful in my life
As I abided in Your Word.
From all the turmoil in my life
As in need I cried out to You,
Those very needs You did so meet
By grace You brought me through.
From all the turmoil in my life
As to You I've cried out for peace,
You've touched me and brought me hope
May it grow and never cease.

LORD, I Am
Learning !
Lord I am learning, yes learning in life
To lean on You more each day,
To trust You to keep me in Your care
In life each step of the way.
Lord I am learning as You take me on
Amidst times that are hard to face,
That You in Your bountiful Love for me
Will uphold me daily by Grace.
Lord I am learning when the way is unsure
And when the pathway is not very clear,
That by Your Grace You will help me through
And that You are ever so near.
Lord I am learning as I now move on
That You do truly Love me so,
And that You will keep and help me each day
As I continue to daily grow.
Lord I am learning in all I do face
That for me You do so care,
And that in the tests I daily encounter
You Lord are also there.
Lord I am learning as each day comes
That as I lean on You,
You will uphold and comfort me in love
To see each new day through.
Lord I am learning in my times of weakness
By Your enabling am I able to stand,
As You stand by and so strengthen me
And never let go of my hand.

Just Trust Him !
My friend I say
just trust Him, trust Him to help you cope
For Jesus Christ who is Lord and King, is our only true hope,
My friend I say just trust Him, no matter how things may seem
Even when you feel all you can do, is to let out a mighty scream.
My friend I say just trust Him, yes trust Jesus to be your Light
As you put your trust in Him each day, He will guide you day and night,
My friend I say just trust Him, to meet your every need
For only you and He know them, He will be your Friend indeed.
My friend I say just trust Him, to walk each day with you
As you go through this valley now, trust Him, He will carry you,
My friend I say just trust Him, as you struggle to climb life's hill
In time things will become clearer, as you learn to know His will.
My friend I say just trust Him, as you battle to bear the strain
For as you put your trust in Him, He will help you bear the pain.
My friend I say just trust Him and reach out to Jesus today,
Lay before Him your every need and lean on Him each day.
My friend I say just trust Him, even when the way seems hard,
Trust Him no matter what, to be your front and rear guard,
My friend I say just trust Him, yes even when it is hard to smile,
For in His love He will help you, to walk your life's next mile.
And while at times we struggle to cope and fail to understand,
My friend I say just trust Him and never let go of His hand.
Yes never let go of His Caring Hand, of Love stretched out to you
For as you hold onto Him, trust Him and He will bring you through.
Not once, not twice but countless times, every day my friend
As you so learn to trust in Jesus Christ, to be your dearest Friend,
Who will never leave nor forsake you, amidst all you come to face
In your life as He walks with you and upholds you in His Love, His Mercy
and Grace.

Lord You've
Always Been There !
Dear Lord as I've cried out to You at times
When so much has happened to me,
You reached down to me in Your Love
And daily helped me see.
That all that You have allowed me Lord
Throughout my life to face,
Has not ever been without a purpose
As You've carried me by Your Grace.
So often Lord I have struggled to bear
The dealings You've taken me through,
Yet as I look back over all my life
You've always been there too.
To carry me Lord when I was so weak
That no longer could I stand,
And to guide me Lord when I was lost
As You lead me by Your Hand.

When At
Times O Lord !
When at times O Lord the valleys so deep
And darkness is on every side,
Our only way for us to come through
Is to in You O Lord so abide.
When at times O Lord the valleys so deep
And we struggle to find our way,
As we look to You O Lord by faith
Are we able to rise up each day.
When at times O Lord the valleys been deep
And I've wept amidst what I did face,
Out of that weeping there came forth a Joy
As You upheld me in Love by Your Grace.

Lord You Heal !
Lord You heal the hurts that come
Lord You heal the pain,
In our lives in our daily walk
When at times we feel under strain.
Lord You heal the hurts that come
When relationships face many trials,
As we commit them by faith unto You Lord
Together we can walk each mile.
Lord You heal the hurts that come
As together we take a stand,
To work towards a closer relationship
As You guide us on by Your Hand.
Lord You heal the hurts that come
In relationships as we grow,
In life's both good and bad times
As each other we come to know.
Lord You heal the hurts that come
In life as we amidst all that we face,
Commit our relationships to You each day
Upheld by Your Mercy and Grace.

When Faced With
Tragedy !
When faced with tragedy in your life
You can do one of two things,
Be overwhelmed in the depths of despair
Or rise up and press on once again.
When faced with tragedy in your life
And at times overwhelmed by grief,
You can attempt to face it alone
Or turn to God for relief.
When faced with tragedy in your life
As happened to me eighteen months ago,
When I lost my beloved wife and daughter
God stood close by me I know.
When faced with tragedy in my life
And enduring the suffering I did face,
I thank God for standing by me in love
To uphold me each day by His grace.
When faced with tragedy in your life
God will help You to rise up again,
Out of the valley of the depth of despair
As to turn to Him amidst the pain.

As I Think Over !
My Lord, as I now think over
All that I have been through,
I know that I could not have coped
Each day Lord without You.
Lord even when the way is hard
May I always trust in You,
Knowing that as I lean on You
Your grace will see me through.
Lord even when I feel so weak
Amidst what life may ask,
Lord You daily strengthen me
And arm me for each task.
Lord even when the hardships come
Your purposes I come to know,
For as I call on You for strength
These hardships help me grow.
Lord as I come to know Your Will
And what You would have me to do,
As I Lord come to know Your Voice
May I yield my life to You.
Lord as I now come to accept
The things that are to be,
Help me Lord to know Your Purposes
As I learn Your Plan for me.
As I often walk through the valley of weeping
Lord my needs You meet,
You bring me comfort and assurance
Your Joy displaces all grief.
A joy in me I cannot describe
A joy that comes from You,
A joy that helps me face each day
And helps see each day through.

Discouraged For Whatever Reason
?
Discouraged for whatever reason at times my
friend
As I myself have learnt, it will come to an end,
One day soon but when I cannot myself say
But I would like to share with you, today the very Way.
That I overcame discouragement, when it came upon me too
It was by my calling out unto, My Lord Jesus Christ who,
When I cried out to Him, in His Arms He embraced me
And in His Arms of Love and Assurance, I was able to then see.
That beyond the discouragement, there was something far better
awaiting
For all who like myself one day did, chose to by faith let Him
in,
And when I chose to accept Him, as my Lord and my King that day
The discouragement and despair within me, began to fade away.
I learnt that there by myself, I could never find that Peace
But through Him I received His Peace, that I know now will never
cease,
That so helps me every time I’m discouraged, as I call out to
Him
And say: “Lord I need You again, I so need Your enabling.
To so cope with life’s ups and downs, including what I am now
going through
I so thankyou my Lord that I can, when in need so call upon
You,”
So know now my friend, if you want Him to come into your life
today
Then call out to Him by faith and to Him now say:
I confess I am a sinner Jesus, yes today it is true
There is no other way to salvation, other than the Cross through
You
I confess I am a sinner my Jesus, forgive me of my sin I pray
I claim my salvation by Your Blood and now unto You I say.
Please come into my life Jesus, to become my Lord
Please come into my life today, Christ to be my King,
Please come into my life today, for I am a sinner indeed
And only You can set me free, forevermore from my sin.
By the Power of Your Blood, You shed for me in Love
Upon the Cross of Calvary, where You bore my sin one day
Please come into my life to fill up the emptiness within
Yes please come into my life now, so that I may, I pray.
Begin my new life in You my Lord, as a child of God today
Washed clean by Your Blood, from the power of all sin,
A new life in You, forevermore My Lord Jesus Christ
From now on and forever, as a child of the King. AMEN !!!
Thankyou my Jesus, Thankyou for becoming My Saviour, My Lord and
My King today !!!
