My Lord !

My Lord You reached down to me
And called me to follow You,
To walk each day with You close by
You helped me to see each day through.
My Lord You reached down to me
When I had fallen so low,
You lifted me up in Your Mercy
And showed me which way to go.
My Lord You reached down to me
When I strayed away from You,
You reached down to me in Love
And drew me ever close to You.
My Lord You reached down to me
When I was feeble and weak,
You strengthened me by Your Grace
I feel so humble and meek.
My Lord You reached down to me
And covered me under Your Wings,
You gave me Hope of life after death
You defeated death's paralysing sting.
My Lord You reached down to me
And embraced me in Your Love,
A Love O Lord that is eternal
That comes from You above.
So Lord I want to thank You
That You reached down to me,
No longer am I bound by fears
But am now eternally free.

Lord You Know !

Lord You know the grief in me, Lord You know the pain,
Lord You know the sorrow, the loneliness and strain.
Lord my cry is why is it so, that I feel so lonely,
Why I feel so empty at times, even though You're within me.
O Lord may I bring You honour, in all that I come to do,
May I Lord bring You true glory, in all You take me through.
Lord please help me to rise up, to face each coming day,
Help me Lord to see Your purpose and understand Your ways.

Anoint me with fresh oil each day and fill me with Your Love,
That Your Love may overflow, through me from You above.
To those I meet along the way, who my Lord are suffering too,
That they may come to cry out and yield their life to You.
And now O Lord may I get closer, to You day by day,
As I come to lean on You more, please guide me Lord I pray.
Yes please guide me on My Lord, Jesus Christ my King along
This very road I am facing today and please Lord make me strong.

Lord I Feel So Lonely !

Lord I feel so lonely, why Lord is this so,
Lord I feel sad within, please don't let me go.
Lord You know the questions in me, please answer me I pray,
Help me Lord in these troubled times and guide me Lord each day.

Lord You have Your Hand on me, I know Lord that You do,
As I struggle to cope each day, may I always lean on You.
Lord You know the fear within, the thoughts that trouble me,
Please help me now to rest in You, as I yield my life to thee.

As I Now Think Over !

My Lord, as I now think over, all that I have been through,
I know that I could not have coped, each day Lord without You.
Lord even when the way is hard, may I always yet trust in You,
Knowing that as I lean on You, You in Your Grace will see me through.
Lord even when I feel so weak, amidst what life may ask,
Lord You daily strengthen me and arm me for each task.

Lord even when the hardships come, Your purposes I come to know,
For as I call on You for strength, these hardships help me to grow.
Lord as I come to know Your Will and what You would have me to do,
As I Lord come to know Your Voice, may I yield my life to You.
Lord as I now come to accept, the things that are to be,
Help me Lord to know Your Purposes, as I learn Your Plan for me.

As I often walk through the valley of weeping, Lord my needs You meet,
You bring me comfort and assurance, Your Joy displaces all grief.
A Joy in me I cannot describe, a Joy that comes from You,
A Joy that helps me face each day and helps see each day through.
You bring to Me Your Peace my Lord, that is beyond my understanding
God's Peace that can only come, through You Lord Jesus Christ my King.
You bring me Your Strength each day, that enables me to stand
As I by faith reach out to You and hold onto Your Hand.

I Count It A Privilege Lord !

I count it a true privilege Lord
To share with people like Joan,
How Lord You have met my needs
And never had me face them alone.
For Lord when I felt so alone
And felt in utter despair,
You Lord brought me great comfort
As I realised You too were there.
I know that as they look to You
You will meet them in their grief,
And as they daily yield to You
You Lord will bring relief.
I know that as we cry out to You
To help us cope with the strain
You in love will uphold us each day
And help us to bear the pain
I know my Lord when they feel weak
And no longer are able to stand,
In Your love You will strengthen them
And lead them by Your Hand.
For Lord Your Love has no bounds
For all who trust in You,
And as they lean on You for help
You Lord will bring them through.
Day by day will we grow O Lord
As we daily trust in You,
As we adjust with what's taken place
You in love will see us through.
So under the shadow of Your Wings
Will we find refuge each day,
In Your loving Arms O Lord
Is comfort day by day.
For you my friend I pray each day
That Jesus will meet your need,
As He did for me when I cried out
And strengthened me indeed.
So trust in Him no matter what
Or however you may feel,
Cry out to Him to strengthen you
And you will know He is for real.
