Lord Because You Live !

Lord because You live, we now can all stand,
Upheld by You in Love, daily by Your Hand,
Lord because You live, we are now able to cope,
No matter what we each face, we now live on in Hope.
Lord because You live, we are able to be every day,
Not weighed down by any trouble, that would so come our way,
Lord because You live, are we able to move on,
Upheld daily in our weakness, by You again made strong.

Lord because You live, are we now able to face,
Our life's many ups and downs, upheld in Your Love by Grace,
Lord because You live, are we able in Your Mercy to grow,
Into Your likeness more each day, in us forever to show.
Lord because You live, we can now live too,
Partaking of Your Promises, as we so trust in You.
Lord because You live, we can live on each day,
To speak forth of Your Love, Your Grace and Mercy in all we do and say.

In All Times O Lord !

Times of refreshing, times of despair
Our daily life's a mixture from beginning to end,
As we look unto Jesus our Lord we find
He's our closest companion and dearest friend.
Times of deep sadness, times of great joy
We find daily in life as we each grow,
As we look unto Jesus Christ our Lord we find
He will guide us and stand with us wherever we go.
Times of reward, times of deep loss
That in our life so come our way,
As we look unto Jesus Christ our Lord we find
He will stand by us in Love, throughout every day.
Times of encouragement, times of despair
Come upon us as we each daily stand,
As we look unto Jesus Christ our Lord we find
He will strengthen and uphold us in Love by His Hand.

God Knows !

My Lord I have often struggled, to try and understand,
Why You've allowed some things to happen, as You've kept us in Your Hand.
For You O Lord, I know can heal, as You have done in me,
Why in some, but not in all, I struggle at times to see.
As I meditate and think O Lord, over these past few years,
I remember how in the battles we faced, that You were always near.
I remember also the wonderful times, that we as a family have had,
Together the many things we have done, that made me as a father, so glad.

As I lift my family up to You Lord, please help me to understand,
To be ever sure and have no doubt, that each member is in Your Hand.
And now O Lord I do thank You, for the assurance You've given me,
That beyond the veil of death we each must face, there is Life, for Eternity.
A place where there is no sickness, no hardship and no toil,
A place of peace and everlasting joy, that nothing will ever spoil,
A place forever in the presence, of our Beloved Father God above
Enveloped for all eternity, in His Arms of Grace, Mercy and Love.
