O LORD !

O Lord what a comfort, O Lord what a delight,
To know You're ever close by, both day and night;
To guide us and lead us, in all that we do,
As we commit by faith, our lives unto You.

O Lord what an assurance, to know that everyday,
Amidst all that we face, You're never far away;
To shield and protect us, from the dangers we face,
As we walk on in Your Mercy, upheld by Your Grace.

O Lord what encouragement, when we feel overcome,
To know You'll uphold us, and help us press on;
To that place in our life, where we will be free,
From both sin and death, for all eternity.

O Lord what a blessing, it is to know You above,
And to know of Your promises, made to us in Love;
That will over time, so come to be true,
As we commit by faith, our lives unto You.

God's Blessings !

   God blesses me in the morning,
    At the start of each new day,
He blesses me during the day time
  As He guides me along the way;
God blesses me every evening
   As the daytime nears it's end,
   God blesses me in the night time
   Through Jesus Christ my friend.

   May God bless and uplift you
    At the start of each new day,
    May God bless and protect you
    As He guides you along the way;
   May God bless and keep you
    Each day from beginning to end,
    May God bless and uphold you
    In the Arms of Jesus your Friend.

                So that as each day comes to pass
                Fond memories will remain behind,
                Memories that will never fade
               Of how Lord You've been so kind;
               Memories that do bring us hope
                To face each challenging day,
               Memories that will bring to mind
               Lord, You're never far away.

                For in our lifetimes all that we do
                Become memories of the past,
               Some that are bad in time fade
                While those that are good do last;
               For Lord as we do lean on You
               You bring an inner peace,
                A Peace that comes by being with You
                      A Peace that will never cease.

Everything Costs Something !

Nothing of value comes without a cost
Nothing is ever really free,
For those things that are everlasting
Comes out of hardship for you and me.
Nothing of value comes without a cost
For only in dealings do we come to the place,
Where we find the true values of things in our lives
Amidst all that we in life face.
Nothing of value comes without a cost
And those things that are worth holding onto,
Are the promises of God to all who believe
Made long ago to both me and you.
Nothing of value comes without a cost
Including our salvation, our redemption from sin,
For while to every believer it is totally free
It cost our Lord Jesus Christ His everything.

Refreshing Water !

Refreshing water from Your Mountain O Lord
Flows through me each day,
Revitalizing my body, my soul, my being
Taking all weariness away.
As I immerse myself in the running stream
Springing forth from Your Mountain of Love,
Meandering its way to the sea of humanity
As it flows from You Lord above.
As I partake of Your abundant blessings
In a way far greater than before,
I realise how much You've given to me
Yet each day still give me much more.
For which my Jesus I so want to daily
With all of my heart so say,
Thank You Lord for Your crystal clear water
Refreshing my being each day.

From Your Mountain Lord !

From Your Mountain, Your Mountain of Love
Comes Refreshing Water, from You Lord above,
That only Jesus You can so bring
As we look to You our Saviour and King.
From Your Mountain, Your Mountain of Grace
Comes a newness of life, amidst all that we face,
As we look to You Lord, by faith each day
To abide with us each step of the way.
From Your Mountain, Your Mountain of Hope
Comes an enabling that helps us to cope,
With life's demands that come as we grow
Wherever life's journey would have us to go.
From Your Mountain, Your Mountain of Joy too
Comes an uplifting that enables us to do,
All that life's walk would so bring our way
As we become more like You each day Lord I pray.
From Your Mountain, Your Mountain of Peace
Comes eternal life that shall never cease,
To all O Lord who would so lean on You
No matter what life so takes them through.

Blessed, O Blessed is the Man

Blessed, O Blessed is the man
Blessed is he who everyday,
Walks in the way of His Lord
And heeds to what the Holy Spirit does say.
Blessed, O Blessed is the man
Blessed is he who hears from his Lord,
And walks in obedience by faith
To become an expression of His Word.
Blessed, O Blessed is the man
Blessed is he who everyday,
Delights in the Law of his Lord
The Law of Love that will not fade away.
Blessed, O Blessed is the man
Blessed is he who finds delight,
In meditating upon the Law of his Lord
The Law of Love, both day and night.
Blessed, O Blessed is the man
Blessed is he who like a tree,
Has been planted by the river of Living Water
That flows from God continually.
