Verses From Scripture

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintains my lot.
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 16:5-11

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies

Psalm 27:11

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

Psalm 37:22-24

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

Psalm 48:14

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

Psalm 61:1-4

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
My flesh and my heart fail: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

Psalm 73:24-28

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.

Psalm 119:105-108

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- O LORD, You have searched me, and known me.
You know my sitting down and mine uprising, You understand my thought afar off.
You compass my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, You know it altogether.
You hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

Psalm 139:1-6
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
He keeps the paths of judgment, and preserves the way of his saints.
Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

Proverbs 2:6-9

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths.
When you go, your steps shall not be straitened; and when you run, you shall not stumble.
Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

Proverbs 4:11-15

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day.
The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

Proverbs 4:18,19

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

Proverbs 12:28

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trust  in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
For he brings down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he lays it low; he lays it low, even to the ground; he brings it even to the dust.
The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
The way of the just is uprightness: You, the most upright, does weigh the path of the just.

Isaiah 26:4-7

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The voice of him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it
.

Isaiah 40:3-5

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:

Matthew 3:2,3

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Enter  in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Thomas says unto him, Lord, we know not where You go; and how can we know the way?
Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If you had known me, you should have known my Father also: and from henceforth you know him, and have seen him.

John 14:5-7

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.
A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me, because I go to the Father.

John 16:12-16
