Often I Have Failed You Lord !

All too often I have failed You Lord and have gone away from You,
To do my own things, so many times, by myself choosing what to do,
All too often I have failed You Lord and not waited on You in prayer,
And failed to wait for Your clear guidance and forget how You do so care.

Yet all the time You have Loved me Lord and have kept me safe each day,
And have kept watch over my well being, even when from You I did stray,
Dear Lord I ask You now for Your Forgiveness, for moving outside Your Will,
For failing to listen to and obeying You, in life's valleys and hills.

Dear Lord I pray that I shall never forget, that You're Lord amidst all that I face,
And that in Your Love for me as I grow, You uphold me each day by Your Grace,
Yes You uphold me Lord in Your Loving and Caring Arms, my Jesus Christ night and day,
Please forgive me and help me to be more attentive to Your Voice I pray.

All Too Often My Lord !

All too often Lord I've taken things for granted and forgotten to thank You each day,
For the many blessings You've bestowed on me, in my life along the way.
I've forgotten to thank You for the little things, that I am able to use everyday,
As well as those that are large by comparison, in my life along the way.
I've forgotten to thank You for the many times, You've stood close by me each day,
To help me when the times were so hard, in my life along the way.
I've forgotten to thank You for watching over me and keeping me safe each day,
From the dangers of life forever nearby, in my life along the way.
So Lord I ask for Your forgiveness now and say thanks to You today,
For all that You have so blessed me with, in my life along the way.

Forgive Me My Lord I Pray !

As I have confessed my sins before You Lord, sins that You already knew,
I pray that You will wash them with Your Blood, as I lay them down before You,
As I bring my weaknesses before You Lord, I trust You will strengthen me,
To resist the temptations that come my way and by Grace You will set me free.

As I cry out to You at this time Lord, please forgive me I now pray,
And help me walk uprightly before You, from this time on every-day.
As I confess my weaknesses and failures Lord, to be obedient to Your command,
I ask that You will daily lead me on and help me Lord to stand.

That I may be found worthy Lord, in every circumstance I face,
To be called Your son whom You can trust, to be an expression of Your Mercy and Grace,
A son O Lord whom You so Love and for whom You truly care,
Who I know has had much bestowed on him and with whom You have much to share.

So again I ask for forgiveness Lord, of the shame I have brought to You,
When in the weakness of my flesh, I did what I came to do.
Please grant me Lord that lasting Peace, true Peace that comes from You,
And may my walk and talk each day, bring You the Honour for which You're due.

Please create in me a pure clean heart, for this I now daily pray,
Renew Your Spirit within me I ask and by me always please stay.
To help me resist the temptations that come, often in my life as I grow,
So that in my lifetime daily Lord, Your presence will so clearly show.

                  you, Let not your heart be troubled,
                    neither let it be afraid.

To Think That I Doubted You Lord !

Forgive me Lord for those many times, I have failed to listen to You,
And have gone away and tried in my own strength, to face what I've been through,
Forgive me Lord for ignoring Your Voice, when You spoke to me amidst the pain,
And through lack of faith in You many times, have refused to hand You the reigns.

Forgive me Lord for all I've done wrong, in my lifetime up to this day,
In my thoughts, my words and my deeds and forgetting You're never far away,
To help me in those hard times Lord, when the pain is hard to bear,
To carry me when I'm too weak to stand, as for me You do so care.

You stand by me to help me through life, when needs do come my way,
That have to be met at one time or another, You help me day by day,
Yes You help me day by day, even when I cannot understand what is happening to me
And I have learnt as I look back in my life, You've been beside me continually.

My Lord Please Forgive Me !

My Lord please forgive me for not trusting You, and for ever doubting that You care,
For amidst all that You have taken me through, You too were always there,
My Lord please forgive me for not trusting You and not yielding my all unto You,
For holding back part of myself at times for fear of what You may have me to do.
My Lord please forgive me for not trusting You, please help me to come to that place,
In my life of a total surrender to You, not knowing what I'm yet to face,
My Lord please forgive me for not trusting You, please help me to find Your true rest,
Where I can put all my trust in You, that for me, You know what is best.
My Lord please forgive me for not trusting You, as I wait for confirmation to see,
As I seek to know without any doubt, what at this time You so require of me.

If Not For, My Lord !

If not for Your Mercy Lord, how could we today stand?
If not for Your Love O Lord and Your outstretched Hand
If not for Your Grace O Lord, and how in our weakness You make us strong.
We today except through Your each of them, could not move on.
If not for Your Forgiveness, for all of our sin
We could not today or in the future, hope to enter in,
Into the Presence of our Creator, yes our Father God
Having been forgiven of sin and redeemed back to Him in Love

By Your Grace O Lord!

By Your Grace O Lord, am I able to stand,
Though many times fallen, upheld by Your Hand.
Your Hand of Love O Lord, as You reach down to me,
To help me carry life's burdens and so set me free.
From the bondage of sin, from all sickness and pain,
From the power of death, as You Lord do rule and reign.
Over them both, for the rest of eternity,
For given in Love by Your Grace and in Your Mercy.

Only By Your Grace O Lord !

Only by Your Grace O Lord, can we all so freely do,
Each day enter into Your Presence, to walk in the Heavens with You.
Only by Your Mercy O Lord, are we able each to stand,
Not weighed down by life's burdens, upheld in Your so Caring hands.
Only by Your Love O Lord, are we able to every day,
Walk with You ever so close by, each step along life's way.
Knowing that we have been forgiven, of all our sin in Love
Knowing that we've been redeemed, back to our Father God through Your Blood.
