The Old Rugged Cross !

By the way of the Old Rugged Cross,
Long ago upon Calvary,
We who once were bound by sin
Are now eternally free.
For there, Jesus bore all our sins
Which with Him to the Cross were nailed,
Defeating death for evermore
And now new life prevails.
New life that is full of Hope
And that is for evermore,
Available to all who would believe
God has much for them in store.
For Easter that began as a time of sadness
Became a time of joy instead,
When Jesus after three days in the tomb
Then rose up from the dead.
For death has now been defeated
And never again could we be,
Held down by the power of death through sin
Since it was conquered at Calvary.

My Debt To Pay !

My Lord I thank You that You came
Long ago on that special day,
When from Heaven You came down
And upon the manger lay.
My Lord I thank You that You came
In order that mankind would be,
From the corruption and bondage of sin
By You made forever free.
My Lord I thank You that You came
And then on that special day,
Hung on the Cross for my sin
And in Love my debt You paid.
My Lord I thank You that You came
And as a result we're forevermore,
Free from the power of sin and death
That held us bound before.
My Lord I thank You that You came
And upon that special day,
Opened for all who would so believe in You
Life's Eternal Way.

The Way Of The Cross !

By the way of the wooden Cross, by the way of Calvary,
Can we each in our lives, forever become free,
By the way of the wooden Cross, by the power of God's Grace,
Can we each stand before Him, to behold Him face to Face.
By the way of the wooden Cross, by God's unconditional Love,
Can we each for eternity, dwell with Him in heaven above,
By the way of the wooden Cross, by indeed no other way,
Can we partake of all the blessings, in store for us this day.
By the way of the wooden Cross, by that and that way alone,
Can we ascend to stand before, our Lord seated on the throne,
Not just for a moment in time, but for all of eternity
By the way of the wooden Cross, yes by the way of Calvary.

My Lord At The Foot Of Your Cross !

My Lord at the foot of Your Cross, we each alone do find,
Your wondrous Grace and saving power of Your Blood for all of mankind,
For all those who would in time Lord, come to so trust in You,
And put in You all their hope, each day through and through.
No matter what their life's journey, may to them indeed bring,
As they look unto You Lord Jesus Christ , as both their Saviour and King,
As they claim the Power of Your Blood, You shed on Calvary,
To redeem, from sin their lost souls, to set their spirits free.
To wash them all daily clean, forever from the tarnish of sin,
In order that You may dwell, forevermore rightfully within,
In the very dwelling place, that is within our beings,
In order that Your Glory Lord, then may in us be seen.
So that we each become, a clearer expression of You,
Amidst all that in our life, we daily say and do,
Wherever Lord Your Spirit leads, as we grow closer each day,
And become more like You, we hope, we trust.

Calvary !

By the way of the Cross, by the way of Calvary,
We are thanks to You Lord, made eternally free,
As we yield unto you, as we identify each day,
Ourselves Lord with You, as we walk our life's way.
As we each by faith, so give ourselves to You,
In faith, hope and trust, each day through and through,
As we each by faith, give unto You our Lord and King,
True praise, true glory and honour with thanksgiving.

He Died For Us !

He died for you, He died for me,
He gave all of Himself, to set His Creation free,
He hung upon the Cross, He so bore all our pain,
To conquer sin and death, in order to rule and reign.
He went down into hell, He arose in victory,
Having conquered sin and death, setting all creation free,
He became our Way, by which we could too,
Partake of the Promises, from God to Me and You
The promise of new life, the promise to be ever free,
From sin's bondage of death, for all eternity,
By the way of the Cross, by the way of His Blood
That He shed on the Cross, where He died for us in Love.

Salvation Is Free !!!

Salvation is indeed a free gift from God
For everyone upon earth to receive,
It cannot be earned, but only claimed by faith
By everyone who would so come to believe.
That Jesus Christ is indeed, God’s Precious Son
That Jesus Christ bore in Love, all of mankind’s sins,
Upon the Cross of Calvary, in His Mercy one day
So that we the redeemed, could by Grace enter in.

Into the Presence of God, our Creator one day
As children of God and no longer of sin,
Having been redeemed from sin, at Calvary’s Cross
By the Blood of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, Lord and King.
For Jesus Christ our Lord, bore in His Love and Mercy
The sin of all of humanity, indeed it is true,
Their is no one upon earth, that He did not die for
And so my friend, that also includes you.

Salvation is indeed a free gift from God
It is now here and ready, for your taking,
All you have to do is to call out to Jesus
And by faith today, so invite Him to come in.
Yes into your life from this day on my friend
Yes from this day on and for all of eternity,
If this is what you want and are seeking after today
Then my friend I urge you, say these words now with me:

I confess I am a sinner Jesus, yes today it is true
There is no other way to salvation, other than the Cross through You
I confess I am a sinner my Jesus, forgive me of my sin I pray
I claim my salvation by Your Blood and now unto You I say.

Please come into my life Jesus, to become my Lord
Please come into my life today, Christ to be my King,
Please come into my life today, for I am a sinner indeed
And only You can set me free, forevermore from my sin.
By the Power of Your Blood, You shed for me in Love
Upon the Cross of Calvary, where You bore my sin one day
Please come into my life to fill up the emptiness within
Yes please come into my life now, so that I may, I pray.
Begin my new life in You my Lord, as a child of God today
Washed clean by Your Blood, from the power of all sin,
A new life in You, forevermore My Lord Jesus Christ
From now on and forever, as a child of the King. AMEN !!!

Thank You my Jesus, Thank You for becoming My Saviour, My Lord and My King today !!!
