A
Loss !
Loss can be a time of great sadness, a time of helplessness and despair,
When you lose those who you are close to, you feel left up in the air,
Loss can be a time much uncertainty, not knowing how you will cope,
Unsure of what others think and feel, when you feel you have lost all hope.
Loss can be a time of much searching, all that is in your heart,
As you prepare to pick up life's broken pieces and endeavour to make a
new start,
Loss can be a time of bringing to close, a particular chapter in your life,
And the beginning of another new one, as when I lost my daughter and wife.

Lord You Know !
Lord You know the grief in me,
Lord You know the pain,
Lord You know the sorrow, the loneliness and strain,
Lord my cry is why is it so, that I feel so lonely,
Why I feel so empty at times, even though You're abiding in me.
O Lord may I bring You honour, in all that I come to do,
May I Lord bring You true glory, in all You take me through.
Lord please help me to rise up, to face each coming day,
Help me Lord to see Your purpose and understand Your ways.
Anoint me with fresh oil each day and fill me with Your Love,
That Your Love may overflow, through me from You above,
To those I meet along the way, who Lord are suffering too,
That they may come to cry out and yield their life to You.
To those I meet along the way, who are struggling to cope
So that I may so share with them, the Promises of Your Hope
And now O Lord may I get closer, to You day by day,
As I come to lean evermore on You, please guide me Lord I pray.

Lord I Feel So Lonely !
Lord I feel so lonely, why Lord is this so,
Lord I feel sad within, please don't let me go.
Lord You know the questions in me, please answer me I pray,
Help me Lord in these troubled times and guide me Lord each day.
Lord You have Your Hand on me,
I know Lord that You do,
As I struggle to cope each day, may I always lean on You.
Lord You know the fear within, the thoughts that trouble me,
Please help me now to rest in You, as I yield my life to thee.

Comfort
In Him !
In life many things do happen, which are hard to understand
But of this one thing we can be sure, we are in the Master's Hand,
And while we battle to cope each day, at the loss of ones so dear
In our time of grief and sorrow,
Lord, You are ever, yes ever so near.
To strengthen us and help us stand, to comfort us each day
May God meet your every need, for this I now do pray,
As we rest in the knowledge Lord, that our loved ones are with You
So Lord we now press on knowing, one day our turn will come too.
Our time to leave our mortal bodies and ascend before Your
Throne
When we again will see those we love, we shall not always feel
alone,
Our time when we will no longer suffer, from sorrow, sickness
and pain
But walk with the Lord day by day, forever to rule and reign.
May God fill that emptiness within, at the loss of part of you
As He did in me and continues to do, to help see each day
through,
May you find God's presence so real, as You by faith invite
Jesus in
And in you so doing my friend, find like me true comfort in Him.

Amidst It All My
Lord !
Amidst tears of joy and tears of sorrow,
I wonder my Lord what will come tomorrow
For much has happened in such a short while, please help me Lord to walk the next mile
Amidst the changes that have come upon me, at times I feel bound, at times I feel free
At times I ask why as I try to understand, please lead me Lord, keep hold of my hand
Amidst all that has happened to me and my family,
I struggle to grasp and face the reality
At times I so wish it was all a bad dream, please assure me Lord, it's not as bad as it seems
Amidst the turmoil that came into my life, having lost my beloved
daughter and
wife
Only You Lord can bring true peace, peace everlasting that will never cease.
Amidst my anguish, loneliness and grief, only you Lord can bring true relief
That will help me to rise up again, to walk the next mile and cope with the pain
Amidst the pain that I feel in my heart, please help me Lord to make a new start
And help Lord to always remember, those I so love, yes each family member.
Amidst the questions, the doubts and the fears, please dear Lord stay very near
As I pray that those memories will always be, so strong and so real and so clear to me.

The
Choice Is Yours !
Having lost my first wife and my youngest daughter
Long ago to sickness, I know this one thing,
I have been blessed by My Lord and my wonderful wife Val
And I write this to you, with praise and thanksgiving.
To My Lord in the hope that each one of you that read it
Whether in part at some time or even whole one day,
Will be encouraged to also cry out to My Lord Jesus Christ
And ask Him to come into your life also one day.
As both your Saviour and as your Redeemer
As both your Lord and your King for eternity,
And if this is the very thing you want to do this day
Then my friend from your heart now say this with me.
I confess I am a sinner Jesus, yes today it is true
There is no other way to salvation, other than the Cross through
You
I confess I am a sinner my Jesus, forgive me of my sin I pray
I claim my salvation by Your Blood and now unto You I say.
Please come into my life Jesus, to become my Lord
Please come into my life today, Christ to be my King,
Please come into my life today, for I am a sinner indeed
And only You can set me free, forevermore from my sin.
By the Power of Your Blood, You shed for me in Love
Upon the Cross of Calvary, where You bore my sin one day
Please come into my life to fill up the emptiness within
Yes please come into my life now, so that I may, I pray.
Begin my new life in You my Lord, as a child of God today
Washed clean by Your Blood, from the power of all sin,
A new life in You, forevermore My Lord Jesus Christ
From now on and forever, as a child of the King. AMEN !!!
Thank You my Jesus, Thank You for becoming My Saviour, Lord and
King !!!
