O Lord Why?

O Lord why am I feeling this way
Why am I feeling as I do?
Is it because I have been for so long,
Too busy to give time to You?
At times I have even doubted the need,
To come before You by faith each day,
Thinking that I was content with life,
Often not needing You along the way.
Yet now I realize how I was confused
And to not need You I was so wrong,
For without You as my strength and shield,
I would be weak, yes far from strong.
Please help me Lord to wisely use my time
In all that I so choose to do,
To be never too busy as each day goes by
To be ever so mindful of You.

To be never too busy to give You thanks
As You help me each day bear life's load,
As daily You walk with me each step of the way
Along life's often very winding road.
Please forgive me Lord for the past times
When my actions have brought only shame,
When my words, my thoughts and deeds
Have failed to so honour Your name.
May I allow You to work in my life
To do what You so have to do,
In order to make me as a new vessel
Through whom You life shall show through.
As a vessel of honour without blemish
That can only come as I allow each day,
You my Lord to so work in my life
To remould me out the once miry clay

You Lord I Know !

You I know will never my Lord
Forsake those who seek Your Face,
For out of Love You gave of Yourself
To redeem us by Your Grace.
You gave of Yourself all that You had
You opened our eyes to see,
That by You and by no other way
We could become eternally free.
As we enter into that dwelling place
You've prepared for all who would do,
With all their body, soul and mind
Serve You and only You.
As we enter into that relationship
Of friendship as we take hold of Your Hand,
A friendship in which Love has no bounds
That enables us to then again stand.

To stand amidst our weaknesses
And so then bear to face each load,
That we are each required to carry
As we walk daily along life's road.
A road that is not easy to walk
Yet none-the-less we have to each trod,
With our eyes set firmly on none other
Than You our Lord and God.
With our ears ever firmly attuned
As we're faced with many a choice,
As life's road we so walk along
To hear Your still small voice.
Amidst the clamour and turmoil
As You speak to our heart each day,
Please help us to so clearly hear
And walk in obedience I pray.

From The Heavens !

From the heavens to the mountains
From the mountains to the sea,
Flows forth God’s Eternal Love
His Grace and Mercy,
That He has poured out to us
When He for you and me,
Bore our sins upon the cross
Where He died to set us free.
Then in so doing He overcame
Sin and death for you and me,
Now thanks to Him we’ve been redeemed
For all eternity,
As we claim the power of His Blood
We’re cleaned, we are set free,
From sin’s burden upon our lives
Out of His Love for you and me.
