Your River Lord !

Along life's valley floor, Your River Lord daily flows
Bringing refreshing always, wherever it may happen to go,
As from God's Mountain of Love, it is fed Lord every day
To bring with it renewed Hope, along its winding way.
Meandering back and forth, towards the coastal plain
To bring relief from, life's daily ongoing strain,
Wherever it goes as it heads, onward towards the sea,
Touching as it goes on, all of humanity.
Bringing new life as it journeys, onward towards the bay
To all those it daily touches ,along its winding way,
For which Dear Lord I humbly, give thanks unto You
And the praise and honour, which You Lord are due.
For the Hope that You bring, as You journey daily along
Washing over us continually and so making us strong,
For the cleansing of our lives, the renewing You to us bring
As our River of Life, our Saviour, our Lord and our King.

Deeper Into You !

My Lord many times I've doubted You, many times I've questioned Your ways
Many times I've wondered if indeed You're real, when I've seen what I've seen some days,
Yet all the time something within me, when of You I've been unsure
Has thankfully told me to nonetheless hold on, to trust You each day more and more.
To trust You Lord no matter what, or how things to me may appear
To trust that even when I feel all alone, that in fact You're ever so near,
As I have learnt was such over the years, as I have pondered along my life's way
As I heard from You speaking into my being, while on my journey day by day.
For which reason Lord from deep in my heart, I give thanks that You are very real
And that You've stood by and upheld me, no matter how I so happened to feel,
At those times when I questioned You, when in my mind I could not understand why
You a God of Love would allow to happen, what I was seeing right before my eyes.
Yet then I realised that with me You wept, You bore the grief and the pain too
Amidst the anguish that in life I was facing, amidst what life took me through,
Then amidst all of that You out of True Love, gave me glimpses of Hope along the way
And brought into my life new meaning and new joy, as You carried on me day by day.
When in my weakness I could no longer, under the load so be able to stand,
Let alone walk along life's winding road, if it had not been for Your Hand.
Your Hand of Love stretched out to me, thankfully amidst all I've been through,
That has given me hope and greater determination, to Lord press deeper into You.

Truly Lord !

Truly Lord You are so worthy, to receive our praise and more,
Truly Lord You are so worthy, today as ever before,
For Jesus You're the Lord of lords, Christ You're the King of kings,
You are to us along life's way, indeed You're our everything.
Outside of You life has no meaning, while in You it has no end,
For which from deep in our hearts, we thank You our very special Friend,
We thank You that out of Your Love for us, You died so in order to do,
Set creation free from the power of sin, to redeem all who believe in You.
We thank You Lord that when we were blind, You opened our eyes to see,
Breaking the chains that bound creation and setting it forever then free,
We thank You Lord that we each day, as we hope and trust in You,
Are able to bear life's ups and downs, indeed all life takes us through.
Through Your enabling throughout our life, as we walk on day by day,
Abiding with You our very dear friend, close by us each step of the way.

At The End Of The Tunnel !

The Light at the end of the tunnel, a Light that seems far away,
Is what has enabled me in my life, to press on regardless each day,
Regardless of the fact that all around, has been confusion, pain and despair,
Unable to fathom within my being, why for me God does indeed care.
Though at times my faith has wavered, when things I could not understand,
When the Light seemed to fade into darkness, when I seemed to let go of His Hand,
Then again He brought to me glimpses of the Light that has given me new Hope,
New Hope to again press on regardless, to hold His Hand when unable to cope.
With the many ups and downs of my life, with its demands I was forced to embrace,
I thank You Lord that this I'm able to endure, due to Your Love, Mercy and Grace,
Thanks to the fact that in Your Love, You daily so care for me,
Even when I through all the darkness, struggle myself to clearly see.
The Light of Hope beyond the darkness, that shines much brighter each day,
The causes the darkness to gradually lesson and so to in time fade away,
For which Lord I want to thank You, for this Hope You've given to me,
A Hope of Light and Life Everlasting, knowing one day I'll forever be free.

The Power to Heal, the Grace to Forgive !

The Power to heal, the Grace to forgive too, that flows forth daily, Lord Jesus Christ from You,
For all who would accept and then receive, for all who would in You dare to come to believe,
In You Christ Jesus, Who bore our sins on Calvary, in You Christ Jesus, Who by Grace set us free,
So that we who believe, may then receive life through You, so that we who believe, may become like You Lord too.
In You Christ Jesus, Whose Love is without end, in You Christ Jesus, on whose Mercy we can depend,
When life's toils become seemingly hard to bear, when Life's toils bring, hardship, sadness and despair,
In You Christ Jesus, who opened the Way for me, in You Christ Jesus, who defeated death's sting on Calvary,
By bearing our sins and taking them to the Cross, whereupon You Lord hung, to for our sin pay the cost.
The Power to Heal, the Grace to forgive too, that flows forth daily, Lord Jesus from You,
May we be ever mindful of, and never cease to say, thank You Christ Jesus, today and everyday.
