HOPE !
There are so many things O Lord, I struggle to understand,
There are so many times O Lord, I need Your guiding Hand,
May I Lord never attempt, to go on alone without You,
May I Lord always remember, I need You to see each day through.
There have been and will be many times, when I battled and all seemed lost,
Until I remember that on Calvary, You suffered and paid the cost,
You paid the cost for the sin of those, who had turned away from You,
To redeem them to the place fallen from and begin their life anew.
And so my Lord in those times, when I struggle to understand,
I know my Lord You are with me, You lead me by Your Hand,
As I think of all those troubled times, when I myself battled to cope,
You embraced me in Your Love and Lord You gave me New Hope,
A Hope O Lord that is eternal, that comes from You above;
A Hope that helps us face each battle and comes through Your Great Love.

Hope, Peace and Joy !

There is a Hope that comes from God, there is a Peace only He can bring,
There is a Joy that is unspeakable, that comes from Jesus our Lord and King,
It is Hope that fades not away, it is a Peace that dispels all fear,
It is a joy that comes through knowing, that He in His Love is ever near.
There is a strength that comes from God, there is a faith by which we are blessed,
There is an endurance we've been given in Love, in Christ is found Eternal Rest.
It is a strength that helps us each day, it is a faith that helps us stand,
It is an endurance that will never fail, as Jesus leads us on by His Hand.

If You Trust In Him !

If you trust in the Lord day by day, He I know will strengthen you,
If you lean on Him for support each day, He I know will carry you too,
If you trust in the Lord in faith each day, to help cope along the way,
He will lift you up in His Arms of Love and give you new Hope each day.
If you trust in the Lord to daily help you, amidst the changes you now face,
The Lord will comfort you in Love and soften the pain by His Grace,
Only He can meet your needs, amidst your loneliness and despair,
Remember no matter the time of day, our Lord is everywhere.
Just call on Him no matter where, you are or how you feel,
For when you call He will hear and you will know He is so real,
And while it is so hard to face, the changes now facing you,
As you look back over all you faced, you'll realise He brought you through.

As I think of the changes I had to make and that have occurred in my life,
I know it was by the Lord's enabling, since losing my daughter and wife,
I marvel at how He has kept me since and helped me along the way,
How He has carried me many times and walked with me every day.
I think of how He helped me to see, in the darkness I did face,
As He reached down to me in Love and kept me by His Grace.
Through Him I now have new Hope and through Him so can you too,
As you lean on and trust Him each day, I know He will bring you through.
And while at this time amidst life's trials, this may be hard to see,
Amidst the pain and anguish you face, please my friend hear me.
For the Lord I know does love you and will continue to do,
Just trust Him now amidst all you face and He will bring you through.
He brought me through when I was there, I felt helpless and unable to cope,
As I battled to face each day, I felt He was my only hope.
He's given me a purpose to now press on, to share with others like you,
How He has and will meet my every need, so too He will do for you.

God's Eternal Light !

Your Light O Lord that began as a flicker, two thousand years ago,
Has grown brighter every day since and will continue to grow,
Your Light O Lord dispels all darkness and darkness is no more,
Your Light O Lord brings us Hope, of which we can be sure.
Sure O Lord of Eternal Life, that awaits beyond the veil,
The veil of death we each must face, as our mortal body does fail.
And so O Lord we now press on, through each day and night,
To where darkness is no longer found, the place of Your Eternal Light.

A New Day Is Dawning !

Lord a new day is dawning, a new day that soon will be,
A day in which we'll find peace and rest, from then on to eternity.
Lord a new day is dawning, the sun will soon rise over the hill,
And will shine forever as we, each yield unto Your Will.
Lord a new day is dawning, a new day that will never cease,
A new day that will as time goes on, be full of Love, of Joy and of Peace.
Lord a new day is dawning, what a wonderful day that will be,
When we beyond the veil of death and sin, will live on for eternity.

True Hope O Lord !

True Hope O Lord in our lives, comes from our knowing You,
And knowing that in all we face, You Lord will bring us through,
True Hope O Lord in our lives, comes from knowing each day,
That in all our lives take us through, by us You ever do stay.
True Hope O Lord in our lives, comes from You, yes You above,
Knowing that as we abide with You, You'll uphold us in Your Love,
True Hope O Lord in our lives, shall we know never fade away,
For out of Hope comes an endless life, that shall come to forever stay.
True Hope O Lord in our lives, enables us in life to face,
The dealings, the trials, the hardships each day, upheld in Love by Your Grace.
True Hope O Lord in our lives, knowing that one day we will be,
Living beyond the veil of death, with you and our Father God for eternity.

Nothing Is Without A Cost !

Nothing of value comes without a cost, nothing is ever really free,
For those things that are everlasting, comes out of hardship for you and me,
Nothing of value comes without a cost, for only in dealings do we come to the place,
Where we find the true values of things in our lives, amidst all that we in life face.
Nothing of value comes without a cost and those things that are worth holding onto,
Are the Promises of God to all who believe, made long ago to both you and me.
Nothing of value comes without a cost, including our salvation, our redemption from sin,
For while to every believer it is totally free, it cost our Lord Jesus Christ His everything.
