Nature's Splendour !
Natures splendour, Its glory abounds,
Amidst the bushland, standing all around,
Beside the stream, cascading on,
Along the valley floor, singing its song.
With lively birds, darting to and fro,
Each with a purpose, that only they know,
The water droplets, glisten in the light,
As the sun rises, to so end the night.
The mist slowly rising, from the water nearby,
Dense clouds of water, against the gold morning sky,
Broken by clouds, with a burning red glow,
Slowly becoming pink, as the sun rises so.
Soon to break through, with streaming rays,
Flickering through the mist, at the break of day,
Dispelling the darkness, to soon be no more,
As the sun climbs higher, than moments before.
Bringing warmth with it, dispelling the cold,
As natures splendour, continues to unfold.
As natures splendour, brings ongoing delight,
As a new day displaces the darkness of the night.

Your River Lord !
Along the valley floor Your river Lord flows
Bringing a refreshing wherever it goes,
As from the Mountain of Love it is fed every day
To bring renewed Hope along its way.
Meandering back and forth towards the coastal plain
To bring relief from life's daily strain,
Wherever it goes as it heads onward to the sea,
Touching as it goes all of humanity.
Bringing new life as it journeys toward the bay
To all those it touches along its winding way,
For which dear Lord I give thanks unto You
The praise and honour which You Lord are due.
For the Hope that You bring as You journey along
Washing over us and so making us strong,
For the cleansing of our lives the renewing you bring
As our River of Life our Saviour, our Lord and King.

Streams In The
Desert !
Streams in the desert that shall ever flow,
As You direct their paths, as to where they will go.
Streams in the desert, that shall never cease,
To bring from the heat, much needed relief.
Streams in the desert, that flow on and on,
Touching those who are weak, making them strong.
Streams in the desert, new life they do bring.
Everlasting life, coming forth from nothing.
Streams in the desert, that brings life anew,
True Life Everlasting, that Lord comes from You.

Morning Rain !
Crimson sunlight shining bright
Beginning of day, the end of night,
Streaming through the silhouetted trees
Sparkling in the raindrops upon the leaves.
Flickering, glistening in the morning sun
The colours of the rainbow upon each one,
Tree branches wavering moving to and fro
In the cool morning breeze that gently does blow.
Soon to be broken by a yet stronger wind
As the approaching storm begins to move in,
Bringing with it for a time darkness again
As the clouds role in laden with rain.
That begins as a patter soon followed by
Heavy water droplets falling from the sky,
For what seemed to be almost an hour
With such force, with such power.
Then after a time the rain begins to die away
To become as a patter yet for a while to stay,
As through the broken clouds the suns rays once again
Stream earthward painting a rainbow in the rain.
Soon the clouds are broken as they continue on
Driven inland by the wind that is still quite strong,
Yet is beginning to ease as the sun breaks through
Painting the landscape in a deep rich hue.
With hints of blue in the sky now quite clear
Gone are the clouds that for a time were here,
Allowing the sun's warmth to touch the land
As far as I could see from where I did stand.
Yet on the far horizon to the west I could see
More rain clouds approaching that soon would be,
Overhead blocking out the sunlight once again
The land then drenched in its shadows of the morning rain.
