As We Run This Race !

As we run this race together, we pray that we shall bring
Unto You true praise and glory, Lord Jesus Christ our King,
As we run this race together, as we serve You in this place
May Your Love flow out through us, as we become vessels of Your Grace.

Yes vessels of Your Amazing Grace, by becoming obedient to all You say
As we seek to serve You alone, with all our being Lord night and day,
Now to do this would be impossible, if not for Your Presence within
Through You Holy Spirit our Teacher, sent to us by You Christ our King.

To be our Guide and Helpmate, to be our Comforter night and day
To lead us into all Righteousness, as we humbly wait on You and pray,
That as You lead us along life’s paths, where we encounter each stepping stone
May all You’ve laid out before us, bring us each Lord before Your Throne.

So that we may truly praise You, as we abide in Your Presence Christ our King
Not for a moment but for eternity, with a humble heart of Thanksgiving,
For we are a truly blessed people, we’ve been blessed in abundance it’s true
Now may this blessing be overflowing, in a way that will glorify You.

Into the lives of the poor and needy, into the lives of those here in this place
Who have so little when we have so much, may it be as by faith we embrace,
This calling that they may be truly blessed, by all for them we do and say
For all our brothers and sisters in Christ, as we walk in obedience to Your Spirit everyday.

Except My Jesus !

Except my Jesus, except my Christ, except I allow You daily in,
How can I myself ever my Lord, abide in Your Presence, Jesus Christ my King.
Except my Jesus, except my Christ, I give You Lord Your rightful place,
How can I myself ever my Lord, administer Your Love and Your Grace.
Into the lives of others my Lord, into the lives of those that I see,
In my daily walk amidst those still lost, may I be a vessel of Your abundant Mercy.
May they see in me a measure my Lord, of Your Life my Christ everyday,
That they’ll desire to partake of too, as You make me a blessing my Jesus I pray.

May that measure be ever overflowing Lord, into the lives of many yet living in sin,
As I stand upon Your Word by faith and exalt You Jesus, my Christ, my King.
In a way that will bring true Glory and I pray true honour to You,
That will never bring Glory to myself Lord, in all my Lord I both say and do.
So that in my life my Jesus Christ, Your Name is truly glorified everyday,
As I walk by faith and not by sight, as I so allow You to each day have Your Way.
For only then can I truly be, a true witness my Lord Jesus for You,
As a vessel of Your Mercy and Grace and Your Love in all I say and do.

Forgive Me Lord !!!

Forgive me Lord, wash me clean, take now all my sin away,
Wash me in Your Atoning Blood, help me daily my Lord I pray.
When temptation comes, to callout unto You,
To lift me up my Lord, to so help me through.
Those times of temptation, so that You may change me,
To turn my back on all sin, to stand Lord uprightly.
Before You Lord without guilt or shame, before You Lord night and day,
As a redeemed child of the King, forgive me Lord Jesus Christ I pray.

Take Me My Jesus !

Take me my Jesus, just as I am, change me now, according to Your Plan,
Take me my Lord, take me today, change me as You, so will I pray.
Take me my Jesus, so that I may be, yes more like You, as You Lord daily,
Work in my life, to change me into Lord, a living epistle, yes Your Living Word.
Take me my Lord, help me to fulfil, what is for my life, my Christ Your Will,
May I never hinder, Your plan for me, as I stand upon Lord, Your Word steadfastly.
Take me my Lord, so that when people read me, it is You and not I, that others shall see,
And in so doing be challenged I pray, to turn to You, away from their sinful ways.

Take me my Lord, take me now as I am, change me into one, who will forever stand,
As a beacon to those, who are yet in sin, that will lead them to You, Christ Jesus my King.
As You take me my Lord, and work in me, to remould me into, the vessel I am to be,
The very vessel you've planned for Me to become, through whom You can flow, Christ Jesus, God’s Son.
A vessel of clay, moulded by You to make Me into, a vessel of praise and true honour unto You,
That shall reflect Your Light into, the surrounding dark land, resident in unbelievers, as I daily stand.
As a lighthouse Lord, out of which shall shine Your Light, into the dark world, whether it be day or night,
As you work in me daily to make me into, a vessel of Your Love, Grace and Mercy, to be used by You

You Are The Potter !

You are the Potter, we are the clay, You make us and mould us, purer each day,
You mould us O Lord, so that I may be, made into vessels for You, pure and holy.
You are the Potter, we are the clay, You cleanse us daily, You wash away,
All of our sins, all of our shortcomings, in order that we may each to You Lord bring.
Glory and honour, Christ Jesus our King, Glory and honour, with praise and thanksgiving,
Not to ourselves, but to You alone everyday, wherever we are, in all we both do and say.
Glory and honour, Christ Jesus our Lord, Glory and honour, as we upon Your Word,
Stand by faith, when the storms of life blow, proclaiming You as our Lord, so others may know.
That out of their darkness, yes out of their sin, they may come forth redeemed, through Your Blood our King,
If only they too, would so cry out to You one day and accept You as their Lord and their Saviour we pray.

Please Help Me Lord !

Please help my Lord, please help me I pray
To from within my life, remove today
Any weeds that may inhibit You Lord I say
From in My life today, having Your Way.
Please help my Lord, please help me I pray
To focus my life upon You everyday,
To take my attention of all irrelevant things,
And be ever mindful of You Christ my King

I Know My Lord !

I know my Lord that this race I am in
I cannot lose, I can only win,
If I keep my eyes steadfast on You
If I to my calling remain faithful and true.
I know my Lord that in this race today
You navigate my path, You show me the Way,
You enable me to overcome in every hurdle I face
With victory through Your Mercy and Grace.

I know my Lord that this race I’ll win
If I keep my eyes forever on You my King,
If I keep my eyes ever attuned everyday
To all that You Christ Jesus, to me daily say.
In Your Word as I draw from You
Amidst all that I both say and I do,
As I live first and foremost for You everyday
Knowing that in this race You’re with me all the way.
