My Life Is Like A Tapestry Lord !

My life is like a tapestry Lord
Being woven by Your Hands;
Often all I see are knots and loose ends
And I struggle to understand.
In Your Eyes You have a vision Lord
Of the finished work in my life;
While all I see by my own eyes
Is confusion and seeming strife.
When I look upon Your work O Lord
I am confused by what I see;
Yet as You open my eyes by Your Holy Spirit
I see what You're doing in me.
Throughout my lifetime O Lord
You give me glimpses along the way;
Of the finished work of Your Hands
You give me new Hope each day.
A Hope O Lord that comes from You
As You watch over me from above;
A Hope O Lord that grows each day
As You work in me in Your Love.

The Master Craftsman !

Lord You are the Master Craftsman
Your Work is straight and sure,
Your Work O Lord is faultless
Your finished Work is pure.
Lord Your Work is so precise
The pieces fit tightly together,
Bound together in such a way
To stand fast in stormy weather.

Lord Your Work is Everlasting
It will indeed forever stand,
The Work O Lord, done with such care
By Your ever caring Hands.
Lord Your Work is ever ongoing
As You Work in our lives each day,
You build us on a sure foundation
That helps us to never stray.

As You Work daily in our lives
May we Lord never resist,
But yield to You as You Work in us
And instead may we willingly assist
Lord You are our sure foundation
Upon which we now stand,
As we yield ourselves to You daily
To be moulded intricately by Your Hand.

Trees Of Life !

We each begin life but as tiny trees
Nurtured and cared for by You Lord;
Planted by the river of living water
To grow daily as we feed on Your Word.
As we dwell beside the Living Water
We grow tall and strong in You;
As we learn to face each new day
You help to carry us through.
As our roots go down deep into the earth
And branches reach high to the sky;
Lord You strengthen us to stand
Lord You are always nearby.
As we O Lord delight in You
And meditate on You each day;
Amidst our branches spring forth fruit
For all who pass by the way.
Fruit of the Spirit that is eternal
The Fruit of Love, Joy and Peace;
That comes each day as we draw from You Lord
In life that will never cease.

MY LORD

My Lord You reached down to me
And called me to follow You,
To walk each day with You close by
You helped me to see each day through.
My Lord You reached down to me
When I had fallen so low,
You lifted me up in Your Mercy
And showed me which way to go.
My Lord You reached down to me
When I strayed away from You,
You reached down to me in Love
And drew me ever close to You.
My Lord You reached down to me
When I was feeble and weak,
You strengthened me by Your Grace
I feel so humble and meek.
My Lord You reached down to me
And covered me under Your Wings,
You gave me Hope of Life after death
You defeated death's paralysing sting.
My Lord You reached down to me
And embraced me in Your Love,
A Love O Lord that is eternal
That comes from You above.
So Lord I want to thank You
That You reached down to me,
No longer am I bound by fears
But am now eternally free.

In The Master's Hands !

Throughout my life there are many things
That I do not understand,
But of this one thing I now am sure
I'm in Yours, the Master's Hand.
As You've seen fit to break me
And again remould my life,
As You've allowed me to face each storm
You've kept me free from strife.
You've taught me Lord to lean on You
And walk with You each day,
I know for sure and have no doubt
You will never let me stray.
For Lord, You are the Good Shepherd
Who always watches over me,
And guides me daily in my walk
In You I'm eternally free.
Free from the worries of this world
And of what comes tomorrow,
Free from the bondage of sin and death
Your Peace replaces all sorrow.
And now O Lord as I move on
Having taken to Yourself my wife,
Please guide me along the winding road
As I answer your call on my life.
As You've also taken my darling daughter
A gem sent from You above,
I know for sure they are both with You
Enveloped in Your Unfailing Love.
So my Lord as I take my next step
And begin a new stage in my life,
I rest in the knowledge that one day soon
I will embrace my daughter and wife.
So that again we will be together
Totally free from pain,
Walking beside You daily Lord
As You do eternally rule and reign.
